I have lived through another school year, and it is officially summer. Josh finished his degree at Rolla, and that means that I had to say good-bye to some great people and great places. Originally I had wanted to write somer kind of 'Remembering Rolla' post, but I think it hasn't yet sunk in that I will not be going back there next year. So, maybe in time I will come to terms with reality and write that post.
I am living at home with my parents and brother again. Although I am 22, I still do not feel like an adult. Maybe no one ever feels like an adult, but some people pretend they do. That would explain a lot of people's actions sometimes.
Tomorrow, Josh and I take off for our big multi-state road trip. I'm excited and nervous. It's going to be a lot of fun. And don't worry faithful blog readers, I take lots of pictures and share them with you all.
Sad to admit, but I think I'm going to miss Lucille.
And Lauren, if you ever read this, you were right.

Goodnight, my love, may the lord have mercy on us all."
