PS-I love ice cream.

If you didn't know, I should tell you now that cookie dough ice cream is my favorite. Hands down, best ice cream ever. After much thought and consideration, I decided to take it upon myself to find the best cookie dough ice cream available. In essence, a quest for the best.

I opted to not choose any store brand cookie dough ice creams. That means no Hyvee brand or Great Value, because let's be honest. All the store brands suck anyway. And since I knew they weren't the best, I would just be wasting my time and money on them.

The first ice cream I purchased was Breyer's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and I was disappointed. The ice cream was too white and fluffy. The cookie dough bits were sparce. And the chocolate chips were too chunky. So much so that they were the bulk of my chewing. Booooooooooo, Breyers. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Well, I had to move on. I purchased Blue Bunny's Premium Super Chunky Cookie Dough. At first bite I knew I was in love. Ample cookie dough chunks filled my mouth and the chocolate chips were sliced so thin, they melted in my mouth. There was even ribbons of cookie flavored goodness mixed in. It was so amazing, that I'm pretty sure that I finished off the tub in a matter of days.

I knew Blue Bunny would be hard to top, but I went ahead and bought Edy's Loaded Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. It was average. If this ice cream was graded it would have a C+/B- average. Bulky chocolate chips was the main problem. I supposed the cookie dough was adequate enough, but something was just off in this mixture for me.

To summarize my findings:
1. Blue Bunny Premium Super Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough *ASHLEY'S STAMP OF APPROVAL*
2. Edy's Loaded Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
3. Breyer's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
4. Any store brand cookie dough ice cream

I hope you remember this the next time you need to purchase cookie dough ice cream. You will feel good buying what you know has my stamp of approval.

I think now I might be some kind of certified ice cream reviewer. I should switch careers because ice cream reviewing is a lot less stressful than pharmacy.
