I went on my quest for a Wii today. I got pretty worked up about getting a Wii yesterday after looking at all the Mario games they have for it and how you can even play GUITAR HERO. I figured there would be no Wii's in Columbia, but I just wanted to see what would happen. I figured right, but I ended up at the mall. I haven't been to the mall in months, so I enjoyed walking around and looking at the stores and people. I did get a haircut and then I bought a dress for a Christmas party that I will be attending this weekend. Then Lucy and I laid around for the rest of the afternoon. I made some grilled cheese. That's pretty much been my day.
OH-I somehow managed to pull off an 80% in biochem! I was pretty thrilled about it. I jumped around pretty excited for a long while. That news made my night after a terrific* night at work, where Anthem (an insurance company) got taken down to Chinatown (meaning it was not accepting claims due to internal issues), so we had to cash out all those scripts and explain to naive people that their insurance is a giant poophead and that they would have to pay cash price and get refunded the difference later, when their insurance was working again. One lady told me, "Well, it's a BIG inconvenience for me to drive across town again later this week." I wanted to look straight into her soul and reply, "Well, it's a big inconvenience for me that your insurance company is rejecting every claim I send it right now, but I'm dealing with it like a big girl, so suck it up." I also got to deal with a woman who wanted BRAND NAME AUGMENTIN. WTF? No one gets brand name Augmentin. Anyway, she found it at Walgreens, so I got to transfer that script (and that problem) to another place.
*denotes sarcasm
In conclusion to the 'Quest for the Wii', I've decided to hold my horses and wait until after Christmas. There are several logical reasons to wait. 1)I'll have more money. 2)By that time, I may want something else. And, 3) All the crazies won't running around trying to knock me over so that they can make their kid's Christmas dreams come true. Until then, I guess I'll just keep dreaming myself. **Sigh**

I'm down for getting a Wii after xmas as well. Can't wait to have GH showdowns! One more way we can suck at life on those lazy sundays while doing century club.
