The End of 2009

I survived finals. They weren't so bad. The only thing was I had just gotten back from Las Vegas so it took awhile to get back into finals mode. Las Vegas was pretty fun, but I felt like I was there for too long. I was there for a pharmacy conference, and my Aunt Linda and Uncle Steve were also in town at the same time. They took me out to dinner, Linda taught me how to play blackjack (where I won $175!!), and then I joined them when they went to see Cher. CHER WAS AWESOME. It's crazy to think that someone who is almost Medicare eligible looks and acts like she does. Here's a photo of our margaritas at Margarita-ville and the Eiffel Tower along the strip.

I am enjoying my Christmas break so far. I haven't had to work much, so I've been spending time with Josh, Lucille, and our families. We had three Christmases in four days. Needless to say, we were pretty tired and ready to be back at our apartment away from everyone else. Here is a photo of "Christmas Dog," or Lucy in front of our Christmas tree. Please take note of her Christmas bandanna.Josh's mom got him an awesome Christmas present: a giant red onesie complete with butt flap. He's worn it a few times already.
While driving out to Josh's parent's house, which is kind of out in the country, we happened across the neighborhood goat. The goat runs with a pack of dogs all around the neighborhood. They make a loop. The goat was in the middle of the road when we came across it and was reluctant to move. We'd heard his parents stories about the goat, but had never seen it ourselves.
On that note, I hope everyone has a happy New Year's Eve!! 2009 has been a good one!! I wonder what 2010 will have in store for me! :)
