Today is going to be a long day. I know it's only noon, but I can feel the long day approaching. I have a test tomorrow and I have to work tonight from 3-8. Now I am working Wednesday nights in addition to Mondays. Plus, one weekend a month. Not too bad if I do say so myself. But I need those extra hours to support my lifestyle. And pay for gas to drive to Rolla every few weeks.
Currently, I am baking. I mixed a white cake mix with a can of cherry pie filling, added some butter on top and slapped it in the oven. I'm sure it will be delicious. Speaking of food, I am going to start eating less of it. Also, I'm considering getting a gym membership. Granted, I could just use the student rec center but it's always crowded and parking is a nightmare. I also think that if I were to get a gym membership I'd use it more. I even looked into some of the classes they offer. Maybe if I start working out and feeling/looking good, I'll treat myself to swimming lessons next semester. Not that I don't know how to swim, I just really suck at it. I don't trust myself in water above my head, but I want to get better. And everybody has to start somewhere, right? The only thing that is stopping me from getting that gym membership is money. I'm very low on it right now. But I have a pay day coming up on Friday and I'm still waiting for half.com to pay me. If I waited this long to pay half.com, they would probably send someone after me, but no, it's okay for them to make me wait.
Lucy just went into my bedroom and laid down in the shoe box sized spot on sun on the carpet. I think she might be half cat.
So school is going pretty good. I got a really good grade on my first biochem test, so I hope that I can keep that up. There was some homework in that class that is due on Wednesday, and I already have it done. Next week is going to suck though. I have three tests and a quiz three days in a row. I might lose it.
I just peeked at my baking concoction. I might have used too much butter. Dammmmmnnn.
